There are lots of communications, quoting.....

.... going back and forth about philosophical positions

and beliefs, and things ...... learned from a guru, a teacher, or a book.

But all of that is second-hand information...

..which depends on belief, and other kinds of wishful thinking.

Depending on the precise status of the 100 odd neuro-chemical

in the trillion synpatic gaps in the brain.......

..... precisely at that moment...... when one read or heard someone say something...

..the sense of acceptance......the sense of an epiphan-ic experience..

...or their counter parts, the sense of rejection, refutation.

Not just with the second hand "spiritual "information...

..but such is the process with any impacting sensation.

Even memories of past experiences are a second-hand information....

..because memory is a reconstruction and is subject to lapses.....

. .. aspects of experience that were missed or not attended to...

.. and subject to self-serving ways of remembering.

If there is a realization of this.......... it comes down to one question:

What is known...... directly...... to be so?

Which does not have the crutch of thought to perch upon.
